Our multiple trips to Go Near in Africa to those who are widowed, orphaned and suffering has been empowering. It has “reframed” the way we do life and the way we care for others. Ann Claire, Ali B and I thought we would go to be a blessing to others. We brought physical help with the supplies we delivered and the hope of the Gospel of Christ. But our friends in Africa were the greater blessing to us. They taught us how to live whole heartedly for Jesus and to stand on His promises. God worked in our hearts in profound ways to change the self-focus to others-focus. These trips were an opportunity to put faith in action as we traveled across the world to bring His truth and love to others. We are so thankful for this opportunity and can’t wait to go again and lead others with us this summer! Kimberly Cook
