From the beginning, God has called us to Go Near—to serve among the most impoverished and underserved communities, including remote villages and urban slums in East Africa. We desire to share the Gospel while also meeting practical needs, walking alongside people in places where hope and resources are often limited.
Today, this calling has grown into partnerships across East Africa, where we work alongside local pastors and ministry leaders. Our ministry includes sharing the Gospel through the Jesus Film in people’s heart languages, distributing Bibles, training pastors, and providing compassionate care, such as providing food in areas of great need.
Even in the humblest places, the light of the Gospel shines bright. Lives are being touched as the Jesus Film is shown in the remote villages. Providing food for families while sharing the hope of the Gospel in villages.Much of my time is spent volunteering at a children’s home and school, where I teach and care for orphaned and rescued children—a place of deep need, healing, and daily dependence on God’s grace.
As we return to Africa, here are a few ways I would be grateful for your prayers:
- Travel and logistics: Safe travel and smooth passage through customs as we bring ministry and school supplies
- Children’s home and school: Wisdom, patience, and strength as I return to teaching the 200 children
- Village ministry: For Lewis as he travels to remote villages—sharing the Jesus Film, distributing Bibles, and helping provide food in areas of great need
- Protection and discernment: Unity with local leaders, wisdom in each step, and God’s protection over all of us as we serve
Would you mind if I send email updates so you can walk with us in prayer throughout the year? There’s no expectation—just a sincere invitation to be part of what God is doing through prayer.
Thank you for your kindness, your time, and your willingness to pray. Your support—through prayer, encouragement, or simply standing with us spiritually—would mean so much.
