Dear friends,
We are so THANKFUL for each person who has joined us in answering God’s call to care for the orphan, widow, prisoner and the poor. This is year 12 for us…we rejoice in what God has done!
-Bobby and Brandy Reese (GNM overseas staff) Bobby helped bring running water to a Maasai community that we partner with. Brandy teaches 2nd grade and provides leadership development at Woodland Star Academy.
–28 volunteers served with us in Kenya, representing 12 different churches. They cared for orphans, taught in schools, visited prisoners and shared the gospel in a variety of settings.
–Donated supplies (from many of you!) filled 56 suitcases to distribute to our Kenyan ministry partners.
-500 Bibles and workbooks were purchased and distributed to Kenyan students who participated in Bible classes we taught.
–We showed the “JESUS” film in a Maasai church and school. The Good News of Jesus Christ in their native language…Amazing!
-Beautiful Lives Boutique was launched as a non-profit thrift store in Fayetteville, AR. Its purpose is to expand the impact of Go Near Ministry and provide funding for GNM initiatives.
TODAY through Tuesday, November 28th, we are participating in the “Giving Tuesday Campaign”.
We have a matching grant of $5000.
