I have such fond memories of spending Christmas in Kenya. This year, I remain in Arkansas thinking of the children who don’t have families to spend Christmas with. I so wish to be there. It was a blessing for Go Near Ministry to send the requested amount to children at Star of Hope to have a special Christmas Day. The children and staff were able to have a satisfying meal at the school of chicken stew, chapatis and sweet drink. It was a treat to leave the school compound where they spend their days and night, to go on a fun-filled adventure for the day. The Fun Park!! The weather in December is warm and they enjoyed thrilling rides and amusements. Some took art classes and painted a picture of their own. Dinner out was Kentucky Friend Chicken!
